is situated 61 miles North West of Glasgow, on the idyllic West Coast of Scotland.
By Car
From the South: 1&1/2 hour drive from Glasgow, by Loch
Lomond-side (A82) to Tarbet, then take the A83 to Arrochar and continue along the
A83 for 22 miles to Inveraray. Alternatively, from the North: From Oban, Dalmally,
Fort William, etc, take the A85, and just outside Dalmally, the A819 will take you
directly to Inveraray.
By Bus
The bus leaves from Glasgow Buchanan Street
Bus Station, Oban Bus Terminus or Lochgilphead Lochnell Street
and all stop in Inveraray town centre.
By Plane
From Glasgow Airport, travel west on the M8 motorway. Take
the Erskine bridge and then take the A82 north to Tarbet, signposted Crianlarich.
Then as above when travelling from the south.
By Train
The train leaves from Glasgow Queen Street, Fort William or
Oban. You alight at the Arrochar and Tarbet (22 miles) or
Dalmally (17 miles) stations.
